With city and state logos becoming more and more prevalent, it seems only right that Roosevelt Island, a "hidden gem" of the great New York City should have its own. The Roosevelt Island logotype uses a bespoke typeface inspired by the Gill Sans Condensed font.
The Computer Doctors is a computer repair service based in Chengalpattu, India, probably best known for its incredibly suggestive and ambiguous logo. There are quite a few Computer Doctors logo designs out there. The problem is that most of them use the same bogged-down motifs. The goal of this project was to create a logo that would visually distance itself from the rest.
The Brooklyn Battery Tunnel was renamed the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel in 2012. It has undergone many transformations since then, the most notable being its restoration in 2018 after the effects of Hurricane Sandy. I created this logo in 2020 to symbolize a new chapter for the Carey Tunnel and for the people of New York.

It is the wide vertexes that give Jodphur its expansive quality. A subversive typeface, it disregards the concepts of typographic economy while still exhibiting a set of traditional proportions and modulations. Perhaps the most palpable link between this modern typeface and its predecessors is its bracketed serifs that infuse Jodphur with a certain kind of "bombastic elegance."

Independent project for Eye Magazine's contents page, taken up as an experiment in typographic layout design. The fonts used are Delerue Regular, Caslon Bold, and Jodphur Regular.
